“It was the weirdest thing,” she comments. “Bob was having trouble with his legs, for which he was given cortisone. But you know, I felt something was still not quite right. I drove him to OSF where he had an angiogram and boom, boom, boom, he made history with nine bypasses.”

“He spent only four days in the hospital, including his birthday. I’ve never seen such fabulous care. We can’t complain about anything. Dr. Geiss actually got him out of bed and walked him up and down the hall.

“We know of five or six people in our community who’ve had heart surgery and they all chose Dr. Geiss. My husband thinks the world of him. If you’ve got to have heart surgery, he says, go to the daredevil! Anybody who can perform surgery on a tiny baby and a seventy year old has got to be the best.”
